Curatorial Biography
Apprenticed under Mr. Cartoon and Baby Ray in East Los Angeles, Jun Cha took the Chicano fineline tradition into the world of Italian Renaissance marble sculpture. His depictions of Michelangelo, Bernini, and Greco-Roman gods look as though chiseled directly out of Carrara marble.
